Chief Creative Officer
Born and raised in Park City, Jill has spent her life creating and playing hard in the Wasatch mountains. Her exploration in the subject of creativity and play has inspired her career as an entrepreneur, artist, therapist, competitive skier and parent. After a decade in the family business, she moved to Chicago to follow her own path and earned a Master of Arts in Art Therapy at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Currently, she has a private practice, Purity of Play LLC, and specializes in PTSD, MST and Survivors of Sexual Trauma as well as creative expression with corporate groups, individuals and families; and owns The Paint Mixer, a wine and art studio with multiple locations.
Jill’s greatest asset is her uncanny ability to connect with individuals by bringing out their creative spirit and connecting to their playful and artful soul. Her experience as a therapist has provided her with the knowledge and experience of working with various individuals, groups, issues and ideas. She honors that every person and is unique and knows how to show up to all the shifts and diversity each person brings to the table. Her therapeutic and business experience, coupled with her competitive skiing background fuels her calm and innovative presence.

Anna came to Park City because of her love for the mountains. Originally from Clarion, Pennsylvania, she studied journalism and fine art at Ohio University before following her passion for climbing, skiing, biking and hiking all the way to Utah. She was introduced to painting as a child by her grandma and lately has been using watercolor as her primary medium. Anna is currently working on making fun, local art for the Park Silly Market. She also teaches classes at the Kimball Art Center and is a fitness class instructor. Anna strives to have work never feel like work and hopes to inspire others to take themselves less seriously.

Camille is a Salt Lake City native with a communications degree from the University of Utah. She’s been continuing her education with art classes and participated in the University of Utah Spring 2017 Student Art Show. Camille is inspired by nature, the concept of a house vs. a home, fibers, textiles, bright colors and patterns. Although she likes to think she’s a minimalist, she admits that she’s totally not. She enjoys working with found branches, yarn and fabrics and loves crafting. Camille also loves yoga, riding her bike, writing lists of all kinds, event production and attending music festivals. She also spends time as the visual intern at Anthropologie.

Marley is from Fort Collins, Colorado. After studying painting at Colorado State University she became a massage therapist and found herself in Park City, Utah. Marley began making art as a teenager and finds that art is a form of active meditation that helps her de-stress. She’s drawn to surrealism and is influenced by the skate industry and the Grateful Dead setting she grew up in. One of her favorite artists is Salvador Dali. Marley also enjoys paddle boarding, camping, snowboarding, hiking with her pup, live music and anything outdoorsy. Her dream is to self fund her travels by selling her art online. Tracy is a Park City local. After studying environmental science at the University of Utah, she was drawn to art after watching a live painting session at a music festival. She has since spent the last few years experimenting with painting, collage and jewelry making. She finds that she is most inspired by the people around her and nature, describing her art as having vaguely spiritual origins. Tracy is also involved in the underground electronic music scene in Salt Lake and has enjoyed helping create unique pop-up spaces for events and festivals. Her dream is to be self-employed and to continue to connect with other artists.

Robbie has been a Park City local since he was just a year old. He graduated from Park City High School in 2010 and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drawing and Painting from Westminster College in 2014. Since graduating, Robbie has enjoyed live painting at local music events and festivals and has participated in the Wasatch Plein Air Painting competition in Heber Valley. He has instructed at the Kimball Art Center but spends most of his time at the Paint Mixer. He hopes to one day pursue a master’s degree in art therapy but until then spends his time practicing with acrylic and oils and dabbling with traditional film photography.

Rebecca Bird Mortensen
Rebecca grew up in Jackson Wyoming on a ranch at the edge of Grand Teton National Park. Riding horses and skiing is how she spent most of her time. Rebecca fell in love with nature and developed a love for the arts from her uncle, John Mortensen who is a practicing life-size sculptor. She graduated from Jackson Hole High School and shortly after moved to Salt Lake City to continue her education at Westminster College. She started pursuing a nursing degree and one semester in realized it was not the place for her. Soon after she changed her major to fine arts with an emphasis on drawing and painting. Her senior thesis was developed around depicting the anatomy and aesthetic of the horse, primarily the skull. She mainly works with oil paints and large-scale ink paintings. She graduated in May of 2014 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts.
Ultimate dream: moving into the art community of Jackson as a contemporary artist and riding her horse everyday.

Brenda is originally from Johannesburg, South Africa and studied at the University of Minnesota Duluth. She’s always felt drawn to creative things and enjoys both visual and performing art. Recently she was in a local play called “Silent Sky.” Brenda is also known for her pet portraits. Although she is currently in a realism phase, she hopes to return to abstract art as well. Besides painting and acting Brenda also enjoys hiking, camping, playing music and watching true crime shows.

Raised in Reno, Nevada, Cathryn moved to Utah to attend the University of Utah. After graduating with a degree in English she reignited her love of painting and all things creative. Inspired by people, color and patterns she is currently working on a series of portraits. Cathryn also enjoys reading, cooking, hanging out with dogs and exploring new cities. Dimitria Van Leeuwan
Dimitria is a Utah native. Although she has been painting for years, she also fell in love with the instant gratification of digital art and enjoys experimenting with photography and Photoshop. Her foray back into painting has been mostly in acrylics, as she likes to be able to work quickly and manipulate the paint into different consistencies and textures. She describes her influences as, “color, space, expansion and frozen movement.” Dimitria is also a talented musician and writer, two hobbies she dabbles in as often as possible.

Libby hails from the northwest suburbs of Chicago and is an alumni of the University Wisconsin Madison and the NYC Fashion Institute of Technology. She’s influenced by textiles, international fashion, women, plants, abstract art, textures, and patterns found in nature. Libby is experimenting with finding a consistent creative voice and dreams of creating a small clothing/textile line. Some of her favorite artists include Frida Kahlo, the designers at Osei Duro and Roald Dahl. She’s also active in the yoga community at The Shop and loves to travel, hike, ski, bike, listen to live music, cook good food and explore hidden nooks. Currently Libby’s favorite medium to work with is watercolor.

Sarah is a Salt Lake City native with a background in psychology and health care. She attended Columbia University in New York City for a year before being called back to the mountains. Her love of nature includes a passion for road biking , golfing and skiing. Sarah is also a trained yoga instructor and loves teaching classes in the community. She is just starting to explore her creative side and has been having fun experimenting with sketching and oil painting. Sarah is interested in the healing and therapeutic aspects of art and hopes to explore the practical applications of creative therapies like art, yoga and music.

Taylor moved to Salt Lake from San Antonio, Texas to attend Westminster, where she studied Art. She will soon be starting grad school, in the meantime enjoying sleeping, eating and creating more art. Taylor loves to use found materials in her creations and receives inspiration from nature, entropy and destruction. She describes her art as “gritty” and “chaotic.” In the future Taylor hopes to make a comfortable living inspiring and facilitating others to embrace their creativity and critical thinking.
