Weather in the mountains can be unpredictable! If you find yourself feeling nervous to drive to your scheduled class, give us a call and we will credit you for another class. It’s never worth it to rush through bad weather!
Don’t see your favorite painting on the calendar?
No problem! Send us an email or give us a call and we can create an event featuring your requested painting. We’re always happy to add events to meet your needs.
Alcohol Sale and Consumption.
The Utah Department of Alcoholic Beverage Consumption has granted our business an Educational License. That means that our guests are able to enjoy a maximum of two beverages during public classes. It also means that for every Adult Class, guests must be 21+ and are required to bring a valid I.D. Even if you’re 95 years old, we kindly ask that you provide identification. Think of it as a compliment! Everyone stays young in Utah 😉
How much do private parties cost?
Private event pricing depends on group size and needs, please contact us for team pricing.
Do you have special classes for families or for team building?
Yes! We love to create custom team building experiences! Whether it’s making a collaborative painting for the office, or making a special craft with the family, we can make it happen!
Does the paint come out of clothes?
We work with acrylic paint. That means that paint can be removed from clothing when it is still wet. If the paint happens to dry on your clothes, just think of it as a permanent reminder of all the fun you had at the Paint Mixer! Aprons are provided to protect your outfit.
Where to Park?
In Park City:
The closest parking garage is a paid, underground lot at the Marriot Summitwatch. Parking on weekends and during special events is always a tricky, so allow yourself an extra 10 minutes to find a spot. There are a few free parking areas (Flagpole Lot, the Park City Library, and China Bridge before 5 pm), but they do require a longer walk. You can always refer to these online Parking Maps.
Feel free to park in front of the Paint Mixer, or at the KFC. View Street offers street parking as well. Please do not park in tenant parking at the 21 and View Apartments.
Public transit and Taxi Services:
Park City has a fantastic and FREE Public Transit system that operates all year. Our Park City Studio is conveniently close to The Old Town Transit Center which offers buses to most hotel and condo locations. Check out the city’s bus routes and schedule to plan your trip to the Paint Mixer.
We would be happy to organize a taxi service to get you home safely!
Is the Paint Mixer open during the day if I want to paint on my own?
We don’t have regular hours, but instead are open for scheduled class sessions that you can sign up for. Don’t see a class that works with your schedule? Send us an email to email@example.com and we can try to schedule a class you can make it to!
